Boxes, Boxes & More Boxes

For some reason I seem to accumulate boxes inside my closet that once contained new, fresh electronics. Now empty, the boxes are worthless and I never use them to repackage the devices, but for some reason I hang on to them. Keeping the Xbox 360 box is understandable as the console seems to have a life span of about six months at which point it suffers a quick red death and requires a return to the manufacturer. The rest of the lot is my weakness. I'm not one to accumulate things, in fact I hate it. I like my life to be streamlined almost to the point of being nomadic. I try to get rid of stuff if I haven't used it for a couple of months because I never miss it once it's gone, but the gadget boxes tucked away in the dark corners of my home always seem to avoid my cleaning as if they're hiding from me. I know where they are, I just don't know why they are still there and why they have survived several moves. If anyone shares this sickness or has a rational explanation as to why I seem to hang on to this one specific, worthless item, let me know because I plan on getting rid of the boxes soon and I think I might need them shortly after that.

I have the exact same sickness. I guess it's cuz in the back of my mind, I feel like I need to keep them in case I need to return or sell the product.
